Class 1 Truck Drivers
- For Immediate Hire (Currently 2 Vacancies Open)
- Wage rates starting at $20.00 per hour up to $25 per hour, 10 to 40 hours per week
- Part-Time, Casual, will be on-call to work for varying shift hours
- Credentials:
- Class 1 (A) Driver’s Licence; Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Experience:
- 5 years +
- Specific Skills:
- Must be able to operate and drive straight/articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Documentation knowledge:
- Accident, incident, near miss reports
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en route, post-trip)
- Driver logbook
- Weight Handling:
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
